Designer Outlet Shopping
We all like a bargain, don't we? That's why designer outlets have become so popular in recent years. Where else can you find your favourite brands at knock down prices? I live in Yarm, south of Middlesbrough, and the nearest designer outlets to me are York Designer Outlet (McArthur Glen) and Dalton Park, a designer outlet in Seaham, County Durham.
The photo above is of York Designer Outlet. The banner on the front exclaims "Guilt Free Shopping". Hmm. I'm not sure that's entirely true. However, it is certainly nice to buy proper designer clothing and even household goods at reduced prices. I often go shopping with my youngest son to the Designer Outlet in York. We drive there, have lunch in the food court. He likes to also have a milkshake and a cake at Starbucks. If I am lucky, I even get to do some shopping!
Whilst it can be nice to go shopping for the day, sometimes, you know how it is, you just can't be bothered. Or maybe you just don't have the time. Or maybe, just maybe, you hate shopping (in which case, you are probably a man). Perhaps the designer outlets are just too far away? For me, the closest one at Dalton Park is a good 25 minute drive away - York Designer Outlet is an hour away - so in addition, there's the cost of the petrol to consider.
Now, many designers such as Karen Millen and Kookai and brands including Argos and Littlewoods are moving their designer outlets online. This now makes shopping for bargains far more convenient and much better for the environment - think of the petrol money you'll save!
On this site, I am aiming to bring together many of the popular online designer outlets to help you to do your Designer Outlet Shopping - online!
There is also a section on the many "bricks and mortar" designer outlets, accessible from the above menu.
