top ten online designer outletsHere is my personal favourite list of Online Designer Outlets, in no particular order - even though they are numbered one to ten. This list should not be taken too seriously and is not set in stone. Nevertheless, I believe that the online stores listed below offer great service and discounted prices on a wide range of retail items.

  1. House of Fraser - This well known department store has clearance departments for most designer brands, including Karen Millen, Oasis and Radley, offering discounted prices throughout the year on your favourite brands.
  2. LK Bennett - This upmarket brand has been going from strength to strength in recent years, and the Duchess of Cambridge is known to be a fan of the brand.
  3. Jack Wills - The University Outfitters to the Gentry run their own online outlet store - the only catch is that you have to wait to be invited to be a member.
  4. Sole Trader - Sole Trader also run their own online outlet.
  5. Regatta - A great place for buying discounted outdoor clothing, shoes and rucksacks.
  6. Brand Alley - Sign up to receive notice of sales of designer wear by brands including D&G, Forever Unique, Halston Heritage and many more brands.
  7. Amazon - One of the best known retail outlets on the internet, their outlet section is proving to be a big success, selling every day brands such as Calvin Klein and Miss Sixty at deeply discounted prices.
  8. Ted Baker - The online outlet for Ted Baker, Teds Sheds, specialises in Ted Baker items from previous seasons at reduced prices. Expect to buy women's dresses, bags and accessories and men's denim wear, knitwear and tops at clearance prices.
  9. - an online clothing and sportswear outlet with reductions on brand name clothing, footwear and accessories everyday of the year. I particularly find to be a great place to buy casual clothes and footwear for my teenage son.
  10. Secret Sales - Like Brand Alley, Secret Sales enables you to receive advance notice of designer clearance sales. A vast array of brands have been sold at discounts of up to 80% off the original price. Recent brands promoted include Vivienne Westwood, Carolina Herrera, Nicole Farhi and Alice by Temperley. I am a frequent customer of Secret Sales myself, and whilst the delivery times can be long, the items are in general of exceptional value and worth the wait. If you are likely to be a frequent customer, it is worth paying up front for a year's postage costs no matter how many things you order. The cost of this is about £20, the equivalent of about four orders.
